OTHER ORGANISATIONS - Reports received from the Local Councils Association and Drax Consultative Committee.

COUNTRYSIDE - Improvements to the paths at Barlby Woodland, and some crown lifting of trees on Parish land, has been approved. Work to commence early September.

PLAY AREAS - Damage has been reported to new equipment at all Play Areas. If you see vandalism PLEASE report it to the Police who may be able to identify the culprits.

BARLBY LIBRARY - The coffee morning and famous quiz is held on the second Wednesday in each Month at 11.00 a.m. Summer Reading Challenge has now finished.

There will be a 'Tea with Santa' Party on Saturday 10th December. More information to follow.

OSGODBY INSTITUTE - Coffee mornings are held on the first Saturday in each Month. Nibble and Natter is held on the second Wednesday of each Month. Phone 07926 378753 for more information.

The OSGODBY FEAST - The event was held on 10th September from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. followed by a Ceilidh at 7.00 p.m.

NOTICE BOARD - A new Notice Board will be installed near Hilltop School. New bins are also on order.

PLANNING - There is a Selby District Local Plan Consultation until 7th October, see the Planning page for more information.

ALLOTMENTS - A hosepipe ban is in place until further notice.

ISSUES RAISED BY RESIDENTS - included overgrown hedges and trees, parking, football in the street and anti social behaviour.
